With a frontispice and 2 vignettes by Carlègle. Printed in red and black.

Backfold printed wrapper with the glassine. Uncut.
First time the new printing type Dorique, designed by Carlègle and Léon Pichon, was used.

With an handwritten letter by Pichon to the writer and history of printmaking specialist Noël Clément-Janin (1862?1947), in which he thanks Janin for his compliments for the new type. (4) pages on paper with the printed address of Pichon. On the first fly leaf a written dedication to Clément-Janin.

Issued in 405 copies, this is no VII of 15 HC copies on Arches.

-Provenance: 1) Dedication copy for Noël Clément-Janin; 2) With the round ex libris of the Dutch book historian Herman de la Fontaine Verwey.

-Condition: Glassine a bit damaged on the spine; Else a very fine copy of this beautiful editid book.
