Vellum laced case vellum binding. Hirsch vol. V, p. 725: Venette was born in La Rochelle in 1633 and died in 1698. In 1688 he published 'De la Géneration de l'Homme, ou tableau de l'amour conjugal'. It was published in Amsterdam and many times reprinted. According to Hirsch '... die erste Ausgabe dieser obscönen Schrift erschien unter dem Pseudonym Salionci'.
