With 61 woodcuts showing practical expiriments in the text(incl. 2 on title-p.agepart 2 and 3).

Vellum laced case binding.
Part 3 deals with pyrotechnics. With extensive contemporary annotations on a camera obscura on first free endpaper and first blank. Translation with additions and corrections of J. Levrechon, Récréations mathématiques which appeared first in 1624. The first Dutch edition appeared in 1636.

-Condition: Vellum a bit soiled; Lower inner joint broken and some gaterings loosening; Despite the faults an agreeable copy with an interseting manuscript annotation about a camera obscura.
