Yellow decorated printed wrapper with a cat on a pluche cushion. Giovanni Raiberti (1805-1861) was meddical doctor and writer, known for his humoristic works in prosa in the Milanese dialect. Original title of the in 1845 published edition "Il gatto, cenni fisologici e morali".
-Provenance: From the library of the Dutch poet Gerrit Komrij (1944-2012), sold at auction on 27 November 2012, lot 1570.
-Condition: Lacks backstrip; Wrapper a bit soiled and lacks some small fragments; Else a fine copy of this rare book.
