Two parts in one volume. 4to., (viii), 97, (11); (vi), 96 pp. With one engraved title by A. Blothelingh, 3 engraved title-vignettes, 5 folding engraved plates (= 11), 9 full-page engravings, as well as some vignettes and some small engravings in the text. Leather binding , 5 raised bands, original spine rebacked. Front panel somewhat loose from joint. Corners bumped, rubbed and worn. Four bookplates (2 heraldic bookplates and 1 philosophia hermetica and 1 other last end). Despite its condition a nice and rare book Third and best edition of Pignoria's "Mensa Isiaca", the first notable work of Egyptology (first published as "Vetustissimae tabulae aeneae sacris Aegyptiorum"in 1605). The second work "Magnae Deum Matris Idaeae" is Pignoria's essay on the Great Mother of Gods (first published in 1623). Blackmer 1312.
