Originally published in 1692, the 1712 [here offered], being the 5th edition. the 'Nouvelle Instruction pour les confitures' was intended as a suite to Massialot's famous work 'Nouveau Cuisinier Royal et Bourgeois' [1691]. It is also a separately published book in its own right. The Nouvelle instruction is 'brimming with recipes for liqueurs, eaux-de-vie, esprit de vin, ratafias, distilled botanical waters, and hypocras, this volume is another inspiration for bartenders aspiring to create new ingredients.'
