Paris, Jean de Bonnot, 1984. First Edition, 26.5 x 20 cm. 243, (5) pp. with 271 silkscreen prints in silver. Black original sheepskin, top-edge gilt, blind and gilt tooling. Illustrated back. First edition with these illustrations. - Signed by J. de Bonnot and Ingo Avolta. Ingo Avolta's interesting surrealist illustrations were awarded the Prix Aspra in Rome in 1982. Small spot on top, but still a very good copy.
"Les Paradis artificiels is an essay by Charles Baudelaire published in 1860, in which the poet deals with the relationship between drugs and poetic creation.
